Company History
Welcome to Caspian Associates, a global consulting firm.
It gives me pleasure to introduce you to our firm. After earning several graduate degrees, including a Ph.D., becoming a professor at a major American university, and publishing extensively, I began thinking of how to best utilize this training. From an early age, I always had a commitment to solving real-world problems by applying knowledge and experience.
Now was the time to bring theory and practice together in the service of people, particularly those in distressed regions of the world. This long-term commitment crystalized in the formation of Caspian Associates over a decade ago when the world left behind the Cold War Era and entered a new age.
During the last several years of consulting, I have seen my dream come true as our company became a medium through which we effected positive and sustainable development in many places where we had an opportunity to work. I am pleased that our firm was a partner in the betterment of several communities and businesses throughout the world.
I am very proud of the many colleagues who have joined me in this pursuit to think and act on real-world issues. What is more, we initiated a whole new development philosophy emphasizing institution building, partnership, cooperation and coordination.
Caspian Associates sees your problems as its problems, and places people and communities at the center of its solutions. However, this approach does not neglect the fact that material conditions from infrastructure and industry to science and technology have to be advanced as well.
For that critical task, we extend hands to agents of change. It is my hope that we will have the privilege to work with you.
